*Oh, My Chosen People!* (*Oh, kiválasztott népem!*) is the Holocaust testimony of Dr. Moshe Berner, a Jewish physician from Marosvásárhely (Târgu Mureș), Transylvania.
Originally published in Hungarian in 1947 by Bolyai Press, it has been translated into English for the first time in 2026 by Martin Baker and Inbal Berner, Dr. Berner’s granddaughter. The edition includes a historical essay, “From the Ashes — A Family Reborn,” by Eilat Negev, as well as the recently discovered diary entries of Dr. Berner’s eldest daughter, Zsuzsi, introduced by Inbal Berner.
