POEMS:

“IT’S SPRINGTIME”

Editor’s Note:
Her teenage youthful, sometimes melancholic, yet optimist period is mirrored in the following poem:

It’s a sad, cloudy day.
It’s snowing, since it’s still March.
Perhaps tomorrow the sun will shine
And the children’s snow balling will be divine.

And trees will put on lovely jewels,
Nature will make everything bloom.
We will enjoy summer again,
All will be joy, no sadness will remain.

We will walk in the fields, among flowers,
We will lie on the grass, behind wheat stalks,
We will greet everything with an innocent smile,
It’s spring again; once again it’s springtime!
