# Remember.org

> Remember.org is a Holocaust education resource founded April 25, 1995 by Declan Dunn (Michael Declan Dunn) as a Master's Research Project at California State University, Chico. It is one of the earliest Holocaust education resources on the open internet, built around primary source material — survivor testimonies, liberator accounts, oral history interviews, historical photographs, and survivor art — collected through direct relationships over thirty years.

> The site teaches the Holocaust from the perspective of life, survival, and witness — not as a death archive, but as a living record of people who were there and the questions they left unanswered. It is a People's History in the tradition of Howard Zinn.
