WURM and LAZANSKY family from Prague

We are searching for the WURM and LAZANSKY family from Prague.

Julius WURM died in Prague on 30 Sept 1937.
In his second marriage he had married Hermina LAZANSKA who had a son Walt(h)er from her first marriage.

Julius WURM adopted Walt(h)er LAZANSKY who thereafter used the family name LAZANSKY-WURM

We are hoping to learn what became of Walter who left Prague some time after the death of his adoptive father.

We have learned from research that Walter LAZANSKY-WURM was born in 1899, visited the "Prager Handelsakademie"
and studied chemistry at the University of Zurich in 1908 - 1912.

In 1934 he was described as a  "bank clerk, in Prague X., Riegrova 8"

Walter LAZANSKY-WURM married Štěpánka STEINMANN. They had a daughter Ulrike LAZANSKY-WURM

Walter LAZANSKY had two sisters:

Martha LAZANSKY and
Hildegard LAZANSKY

Their birth parents were MUDr. Leopold LAZANSKY (his parents Josef LAZANSKY and Josefa nee KOHN) and Hermine, nee POLLAK (her parents were Abraham POLLAK and Karoline nee SCHLOSSER).

 

 What happened to these people?? research has shown that they perished.

 

We are now most anxious to learn what happened to the family of Štěpánka STEINMANN.
We know that she was born on 21st of March, 1890 in Budapest.
She is described in a Czech document as being a "chemist lieutenant"

Who were her family in Hungary? did she have siblings???

In the course of this search we learned about the STEINMANN family: -  Did any of them have family????

Stepanka had 3 siblings, Felix, Pal and Otto STEINMANN. While we still know too little about their fate, we did learn that Pal's wife was Josefa nee EGER, and that she survived World War 2.  In 1948 she was running a wine wholesale firm in Árpádföld. (today part of Budapest ) .
