Family of Villem (William) HOFFMANN

We are NO LONGER searching for the heirs of Villem (William) HOFFMANN born approx 1907, last known at 5390 Pershing, St.Louis MO, USA

Villem (William) HOFFMANN was the widower of Anna HOFFMANN nee KATZ born Jan 4 1907, who died on 15 May 1946 in St.Louis Missouri.

Anna HOFFMANN had a brother Hynek KATZ who lived at Haus Rudolf, Davos, Switzerland and who died on 31 October 1948
They were the children of Jindrich KATZ and his wife Amalia nee LOEFFEL

In the course of this search we have obtained

                                             pencilled in are corrections recorded by the funeral director on 27 Oct 1947

We are told that despite the fact that the certificate says that she was buried in Mount Olive Cemetery, it is unlikely to have been so.  This is a Catholic Cemetery and its records are online at http://www.archstl.org/cemeteries/ .  There is no record of her burial there. On the other hand, with the help of the the St. Louis Genealogical Society’s web page a record for Ana could be found.   It indicates she was buried at United Hebrew Cemetery.  This did not, however, have any similar burial information about her husband.
