Completed Search : for Barbara & David GODWIN
We are delighted to report that on 8 March 2006 we have found Barbara & David GODWIN , the children of Annelies MAGEN, Annelies MAGEN fled Dresden, Germany because of the Nazi persecution in Germany. When she arrived in England, she was at first received by family and friends here. People from the Quaker community in Somerset taught her English and soon was able to fend for herself. She trained as a nurse and worked at the Mile End Hospital in London. It is believed that in 1943 she married an Anglican Priest by the name of Harold GODWIN, and that in 1945 David was born, followed by Barbara in 1948 Do you recognize any of this?
