WE HAVE LOCATED the family of Rob WEADON ? we do not know whether he is a Robbin or a Robert !

All we know about him is that he was in the RAF - probably a pilot - on a rest and recreation leave, in Kashmir, in Srinigar and Gulmarg, in  May of 1946. 

An RAF pilot from the Burma Front on R&R, probably there a lot earlier than, 'May, 1946.'  [A curious date!  The Burma front was earlier. ]

According to Mrs Yvonne Reissner, [38 years old at that time] he  was on a rest and recreation leave, in Kashmir, in Srinigar and Gulmarg, in  May of 1946. 

The Reissners spent a number of weeks in his company,  Rob Weedon was significantly younger than Mrs Reissner, and has a good chance of still being alive.
At a guess an RAF Pilot would have been around 25 years old in 1946 - ie he was born around 1930.

The following list are the squadrons Rob would most likely have been in (at the bottom are the four most likely):

All of the above squadrons fought in Burma during the time frame that Rob would have been there. Added stars signify increasing likelihood.
Of all listed, the most likely is Squadron 28.  Also high in the running: 135; 30; 42 and 216.  These would be the four most likely.
